The Åfjorden (or sometimes just Åfjord) is a fjord in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 15-kilometre (9.3 mi) long fjord lies inside the municipality of Åfjord. The municipal center of Åfjord, Årnes, lies at the head of the fjord. The Åfjorden flows into the Lauvøyfjorden and then out into the ocean.[1]
