The 2014 Batang Pinoy, officially known as the 2014 Philippine Youth Games–Batang Pinoy was hosted in Bacolod, Negros Occidental from December 9–13, 2014.[2]

Iloilo City was originally named to host the games but due to the renovation of the Iloilo Sports Complex and was set to host another competition, the 2015 National Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) meet, the city begged off from hosting the games.[2][1] Bacolod also hosted the 2013 edition earlier this year. The hosting of Bacolod of the 2013 edition, originally scheduled to be held in November 2013 was postponed to January-February 2014 due to Typhoon Haiyan.[3]
