2017 Kedah FA season

The 2017 season is Kedah FA's 9th season in the Malaysia Super League since its inception in 2004. They will also eligible to compete in FA Cup and Malaysia Cup.

Season overview

Pre-season

On 24 November 2016, Azmeer Yusof through his personal Facebook account have confirmed will be with Kuala Lumpur FA for the 2017 season although Kedah FA offered him a new contract for another season.[1]

On 28 November 2016, the contract of Liridon Krasniqi was renewed for another two years and is set to expire in the end of 2018 season[2]

On 1 December 2016, Mohd Fitri Omar[3] was signed from Penang FA and Muhammad Akram Mahinan[4] was signed from Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C. Both signed one year deals with the club.
