The 2018 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship for Women will be the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Championship for Women. The tournament will be also the 24th edition of the biennial competition.[1]
The championship will be divided into two levels: Level I and Level II. The two lowest finishers of Level I will meet the top two finishers of Level II to determine which teams will qualify for the top Level of the 2020 Championships. The losers will be relegated to Level II.
