The 3rd Pekan Apresiasi Film Nasional ceremony (formerly Indonesian Film Festival), presented by the Indonesian Film Board (BFI), honored the best in film for 1967, and was held in Jakarta, seven years after the last ceremony– a delay due to a decrease in film production.
The third edition of the ceremony awards consisted of 12 categories of the Citra Award. For the category of Best Film it was the first time the winner was not announced and also the awards for Best Sound Editing and Mixing and Best Visual Effects. Petir Sepandjang Malam was the biggest winner with four awards, followed by Dibalik Tjahaja Gemerlap with wins in three categories.
