The 9th Street station is a station on the Charlotte Trolley heritage streetcar line in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Serving as the northern terminus of the line, this has side platforms, which sit on western side of the tracks.[1] The station will be incorporated as a station as part of the Blue Line Extension/Northeast Corridor light rail project. In July 2010, CATS announced that funding is being sought to extend the Blue Line to 9th Street and to upgrade the station to serve the UNC Charlotte Uptown Campus.[2]
