A.C. Guards is the name of the locality in the city of Hyderabad, capital city of Telangana. Masab Tank, Shyam Rao Nagar are adjacent to A.C. Guards.[1] As per the instructions of local citizens, recently the name has been changed to Manhattan.

- A.C. Guards Hockey Ground was one of the venue of GHMC Summer Coaching Camp from April 25th till May 31st 2013[3]

Background
The name A.C Guards stands for the "African Cavalry Guards" of Hyderabad State stationed there since the time of Nizam Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI. The Barracks are believed be to have been constructed more than 100 years ago and the Quarters of A.C Guards were given permanently to the African Soldiers of the Nizam Army Free of Charge.[5]
