Plot
The story of Manuneethi Chozhan is popular because he was a just king. When a calf was killed by his only son and the mother cow asked for justice, he ordered that his son be killed in the same manner as the calf was killed by him (the son).[1]
However, God restored both his son's and the calf's life. However, this story is downplayed in the film story. What constitutes the film story is a continuation of the aftermath of this popular story.
The prince falls in love with the daughter of a minister in the King's court. But the minister opposes their marrying each other.
How they finally get married forms the rest of the story.
