Adam Chanler-Berat
Adam Brian Chanler-Berat (born December 31, 1986) is an American stage and film actor.
He is best known for his work on Broadway, originating the role of Henry in the Next to Normal (which received 11 Tony nominations, winning 3 and receiving the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama), Boy in Peter and the Starcatcher (which received 9 Tony nominations, winning 5), and Nino in the upcoming 2017 musical, Amélie.
Early life
Chanler-Berat was born in West Nyack, Rockland County, New York, the son of Shelley Chanler and Bert Berat.[1] He attended Clarkstown High School South (2001–05) and Marymount Manhattan College.[2]
Film
He appeared in the 2007 film The Life Before Her Eyes.[3] He also appeared in the 2013 Vince Vaughn film Delivery Man as one of 533 children, Viggo.
Chanler-Berat also starred in the webseries "It Could be Worse" alongside Wesley Taylor.
Other Work
Chanler-Berat took part in a concert of Bromance: The Dudesical, opposite Jason Tam. He played the role of Dick, who introduces Jason Tam's character into the world of 'bro-doms'.
Chanler-Berat also played the part of Michael in a concert presentation of FALLOUT at Feinstein's/54 Below on February 9, 2016. FALLOUT is an original musical about two neighboring families in suburban Westchester during the thirteen days of 1962’s Cuban Missile Crisis. As the world teeters on the edge of nuclear war, they struggle with the fact that life as they know it has come to an end. The result is a fantastical, surrealist exploration of America at a pivotal moment in history—a lush rock-based tale about fears, hopes and heroes.
