Adam Sampson

Adam Sampson (b. 13 June 1960)[1] was previously the Chief Ombudsman of the Legal Ombudsman, the free service that investigates complaints about lawyers in England and Wales.[2] He took up the post on 1 July 2009: prior to this he was the chief executive of the charity Shelter[3] for seven years.

He left that role in November 2014 in a dispute over rail fares.

He is currently the chair of the charity FareShare,[4] a Commissioner on the UK Drug Policy Commission[5] and non-executive chairman of C4H,[6] a community interest housing company.
