Agrilus auroguttatus is a species of jewel beetle in the United States.
It was considered a subspecies of Agrilus coxalis Waterhouse 1889, but now it is regarded as a separate species. Much of what is on the A. coxalis page refers to this species. Coleman and Seybold (2009) reported that A. auroguttatus (as A. coxalis) caused widespread damage and death to oaks in San Diego Co., California, where it was suspected of having been introduced because it had appeared suddenly, in large numbers and causing high mortality to oaks, Quercus spp.
Until recently it had been found only in south- eastern Arizona; it had rarely been collected.
