Ajeya is a 1985 Indian Kannada language romantic drama film directed and co-produced by Siddalingaiah and based on the novel of the same name written by B. L. Venu.[1] The film starred Murali and Sandhya in the lead roles. The film had the score and soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja.[2] The film was remade in Tamil as Puthir with Murali reprising his role while his father also directed the Tamil version.

Release
The film was released in 1985 all over Karnataka. The film met with wide positive response and was a musical hit at the box-office.
Soundtrack
All the songs are composed and scored by Ilaiyaraaja with the lyrics by Doddarangegowda and Shyamsundar Kulkarni.[3]
