Characters

Glenn Radars (グレン)
Voiced by: Sōma Saitō[1]
Glenn is the protagonist of the series. He is lazy, and constantly bored by everything, with his primary focus being sleeping. He becomes the substitute teacher in Sistina's class, after the retiring of her favorite teacher. While he looks incompetent, he is actually skilled with magic, but not in regular aspects. It is later revealed that he developed his own type of magic, called "The Fool's World" which stops all magic from being used within a certain radius, including his own. However, this does not nullify already cast magic. He uses this magic to stop other people from using magic to fight and then beats them using superior Hand-to-hand combat skills. He cannot use combat magic fluently due to it being far away from his area of expertise, but he has an in-depth understanding of the concept of all types of magic, which makes him a good instructor.
Sistine Fibel (システィーナ)
Voiced by: Akane Fujita[1]
Sistine is the main heroine. She admires magic greatly and wishes to discover the secret of the Flying castle, which no one knows. Her admiration of magic is something that Glenn used to have until he was forced to use his to kill, after which he lost her admiration. She maintains a strict, no-nonsense demeanor throughout, and often scolds Guren for his lackadaisical attitude. She initially hates Guren, believing him to be as incompetent as he looked due to his lack of enthusiasm, however when he started teaching, she wanted to refuse but she accepted what a good teacher he was.
Rumia Tingel (ルミア)
Voiced by: Yume Miyamoto[1]
Rumia is Sistina's best friend. She is close to Guren, who often treats her well, in contrast to the teasing that Sistina faces from him.
