Albert Thornton

Albert James Thornton (17 January 1856 – 14 June 1931) was an English cricketer active from 1879 to 1891 who played for Sussex and Kent. He was born in Folkestone and died in Kensington. He appeared in 30 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled slow underarm. He scored 947 runs with a highest score of 137 and took 27 wickets with a best performance of four for 20.[1]
