All-America City Award
The All-America City Award is given by the National Civic League annually to ten communities in the United States. It recognizes those whose citizens work together to identify and tackle community-wide challenges and achieve uncommon results. Winners can be neighborhoods, towns, villages, cities, counties, or regions.
The All-America Award is the oldest community recognition program in the nation.
Since the program's inception in 1949, more than 600 communities have been named All-America Cities.[1] Each year, interested communities submit a comprehensive package based on published criteria that are evaluated in the award selection process.[2][3] Deserving communities are named as finalists, and the year's ten award winners are named from that pool of applicants.[4]
