Alwandi is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Koppal taluk of Koppal district in Karnataka.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Alwandi had a population of 6907 with 3532 males and 3375 females.[1]

The town has Government Degree college, a Government Hospital, and other academic institutions and two banks. Alwandi is famous for education institutes started by former MP Shivamoorthy Swami.
