Anita Snellman
Sini Anita Kyllikki Snellman (September 4, 1924 – February 24, 2006) was a Finnish painter. She studied in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Paris.
After spending time in Paris, Snellman moved to Ibiza, where she bought an apartment in the late 1960s. She created a notable international career.
Snellman received the Pro Finlandia in 1976; she was also made a professor in 1986. Her works can be seen in many of the most important art museums in Finland.
She is buried in the Hietaniemi Cemetery in Helsinki.[1]
