Archibald Malcolm "Archie" Benn (1897 3 April 1980) was an Australian politician. Born in Darling Downs, Queensland, he was educated in Melbourne before returning to Queensland as a public servant. He was Director of Labour in Queensland during World War II. In 1949, he was elected to the Australian Senate as a Labor Senator for Queensland. He remained a Senator until his retirement in 1967. Benn died in 1980.[1]
