Ardmore GAA
Ardmore GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the West Waterford town of Ardmore, Ireland. The club plays both hurling and gaelic football. It is generally thought to focus more on gaelic football, having won 2 Senior Football Championships in 1965 and 1977. Recently the club has put more effort into hurling, winning the Waterford Intermediate Hurling Championship for the first time in 2002.

History
In 1950, Ardmore won the Western Junior Football Final, but were beaten by Kill in the county final. In 1957, the club having lapsed, a public meeting was held and a new committee elected. In 1960, the first Junior county final was won by Ardmore. In 1961 Ardmore won the county final and went on to win county finals in 1965 and in 1977. A field was purchased in 1982 and was officially opened in 1984.[1]
