The 9th season of the television series Arthur was originally broadcast on PBS in the United States from December 20, 2004 to April 8, 2005 and contains 10 episodes. Cameron Ansell replaced Mark Rendall as the voice of Arthur, Jessica Kardos replaced Patricia Rodrigues as the voice of Sue Ellen Armstrong, and Paul-Stuart Brown replaced Alex Hood as Brain. This is also the first season where Cookie Jar Entertainment produced this series after the CINAR-Cookie Jar rebrand. It produced the series until the end of Season 15, when it merged with DHX Media.

Castles in the Sky: The tree house collapses under the weight of snow of the roof. After meeting Frank Gehry at The Sugar Bowl, Arthur and his friends come up with different ideas to build a new tree house. The only design they agree on is the original, which they rebuild. Frank Gehry guest stars as himself.
Tipping the Scales: The school choir is excited about singing in Crown City, but they aren't excited about Mrs. Krasny's replacement, Dr. Fugue. He then makes the choir work very hard, but at the end, they perform at a diner during a blizzard.

Arthur Weighs In: After being unable to fit into a suit for his play (and instead, is given a husky suit for the role), Arthur looks at a variety of diets. He finds that exercise is the best way of keeping fit.
The Law of the Jungle Gym: Muffy gets a new camera, and wants to use the playground as a photo studio. Unfortunately, that is the Tough Customers' turf, and disagreements arise about who the playground really belongs to.

Buster's Green Thumb: Buster decides to try his own hand at gardening with a tomato plant after trying out home-grown compost on tomatoes and finding out that commercial ones do not taste as good.
My Fair Tommy: One Friday at preschool, the Tibble Twins destroyed D.W's cupcake and picture on the wall and get a time out as a punishment and D.W. teaches Tommy manners in a bet with Emily. He successes to the day of the award but turns to normal as it was a vanilla cupcake, not chocolate.

Lights, Camera, Opera!: Muffy is not excited about going to the opera, a performance of Carmen, with her dad, not a boy band concert, fearing that it will be boring. Her Mom tells her that is okay to try new things. Opera singer Rodney Gilfrey guest stars.
All Worked Up!: Arthur aces five quizzes in a row. But his luck runs out when Jane takes a client. At first, Arthur and D.W. get all worked up over this change at home, but they learn that they'll always be the first priority of their mother.

Arthur Makes Waves: The public pool is closed, but Arthur and D.W. can use James' swimming pool. Arthur discovers that James' older sister is Molly. Eventually, the two get along but avoid each other in public because their friends won't approve. Their friends gang up on Molly to squeeze information. This ends prematurely as Francine suggest that they should go to the Sugar Bowl.
It Came from Beyond: Grandma Thora finds a stray dog named Killer. Killer is a ferocious dog that barks at and bites other people and pets. Grandma Thora finds out that Killer has been in and out of the pound several times and changes her mind after leaving Killer there. Killer rethinks her behavior toward others and gets Nemo out of a tree.

Three's a Crowd: Prunella gets jealous when her friend, Marina, joins yoga lessons which she has with her mother, and turns out to be better at it than her.
"A" is for Angry: Arthur cracks after unwanted support from his friends, who want him to defeat The Brain and participate in the inter-scholastic checkers tournament.

The "A" Team: Brain and Francine feel that their soccer team is doing stuff that is much too easy for them, so they join the Elwood City All Stars. They practice hard, until they have a soccer game against their old soccer team, but they become extra players for their team.
Emily Swallows A Horse: D.W. finds a ball, drops it, and finds Emily holding it. Emily tries to make up an excuse to keep the ball instead of D.W. She lies but it keeps getting bigger as she tells more lies, such as when she said Marie-Helene had a terrible disease called halitosis. She has a dream, tells Marie-Helene, and tells D.W.

D.W. Beats All: When the Tibble Twins get a set of drums and decide to perform the Summer Serenade Festival, D.W. wishes that she has an instrument of her own to play, and ultimately creates her own kinetic instrument.
Buster the Myth Maker: Buster begins finding information about among others. After finding information that siberian tigers are living in Turkey Hill Park on a website, Arthur and Buster decide to investigate. However, the myth turns out to be a hoax, set up by Brain as an experiment.

Binky Goes Nuts: Binky discovers that he's allergic to peanuts. He finds this discovery rather daunting at first, but soon discovers that there are many ways to cope with his allergy.
Breezy Listening Blues: Brain is convinced that his parents' Breezy Listening CD is the reason why he didn't do as well as normal on a school test. He also has to find some music that will suit everyone to play in his parents' ice cream shop. Eventually, he makes a compilation of the songs from everyone's favorite songs.
