Aspasia the Physician

Not to be confused with Aspasia.

Aspasia (fl. 1st century CE) was an ancient Greek physician who worked in obstetrics and gynecology. She developed a technique for moving a breech baby to ease delivery. She also worked on preventative medicine with pregnant women.[1]
