Austrofusus is a genus of medium-sized sea snails or whelks, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.
Description
Two extant species Austrofusus glans and A. chathamensis are endemic to New Zealand waters,[1] but most species are extinct and there is an abundant fossil record within the country.[2]
