The B-32 is a small racing keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass. It has a fractional sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel with a weight bulb. It displaces 4,100 lb (1,860 kg) and carries 1,650 lb (748 kg) of lead ballast.[1][2]
The boat has a draft of 6.42 ft (1.96 m) with the standard bulb fin keel and 4.33 ft (1.32 m) with the optional shoal draft keel.[1]
The boat has a PHRF racing average handicap of 72 with a high of 84 and low of 66. It has a hull speed of 7.03 kn (13.02 km/h).[2]
