Bagheera is a genus of jumping spiders. There are four species.
Name
The genus name is derived from Bagheera, the black-toned Leopard from Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book. Other salticid genera with names of Kipling's characters are Akela, Messua and Nagaina.
