The temple opens up early morning (5.30 am during summer and 6 am during winter) but remains closed for couple of hours during Mid-day (exact time not known). Sometimes, it can lead to disruption of planned schedule unless one reaches there in morning hours or after about 3 pm. Every year, many Kanvaraiya (people who fetch water pot from Narmada river and keep this water pot on special bamboo baskets like balance structure) fetch Narmada-Jal by walking from Narmada and pour that holy water to lord Shiva.
