Barabanba (バラバンバ) is an erotic manga created by Go Nagai. It was originally published by Scola Inc. (a former sub-company of Kodansha) and serialized in the magazine Scola from October 13, 1983 to August 9, 1984 .[1][2]
An OVA version loosely based in the manga was released in June 21, 1985 by Japan Home Video[3] (prior to the creation of the label Alice Japan). The animated version has as full name Chonoryoku Shōjo Barabanba (超能力少女バラバンバ Chōnōryoku Shōjo Barabanba, loosely translated as Super powerful girl Barabanba) and is one of the first adult-restricted OVA and also the first of Nagai.[1]
A sequel of the manga, featuring the daughter of the original characters, was serialized in the magazine Comic Burger from April 14, 1987 to November 15, 1987 , published by Scola Inc. as well, and it was simply called Barabanba 2 (バラバンバ2).[1][2]
Story of Barabanba (manga)
Baraba is a corsair of the space that arrives to the Earth, along with her loyal grandpa Dagota (a 300-year-old robot), to escape of the pursuers interested in seizing the reward hanging from her head. Their arrival to the planet, however, was not the most comfortable: the crossing of a dimensional barrier creates an imbalance that transforms her into an attractive and naked girl, while Dagota turns into a small monster with tentacles. As soon as she sets foot on the Earth, she is assaulted by Chuta Banba, an impeded high schooler desperately searching for his "first time", with whom Baraba begins a life dedicated to the most unrestrained hedonism.
