Barmageddon is a weekly American reality competition series that premiered on truTV on October 29, 2014 as part of the network's latest programming revamp. Its working title was The Shake Up in the summer of 2014,[1] but settled with the current title.
The show ran for 16 episodes in the first season, and was renewed for a 2nd season which premiered on May 25, 2015.
Synopsis
The one-hour show is hosted by comedian Mo Mandel (from Comedy Central Presents). He travels across the United States and pits two bartenders against each other to see who can turn the most profit. But the twist is they have to run each other's bars for a night. The winner receives a $10,000 grand prize.[2]
