August First Film Studio, or Bayi Film Studio, is a state-run film studio in China.
History
August First Film Studio was established on August 1, 1952. It was originally called the PLA Film Studio (Chinese: 解放军电影制品厂). In 1956, it was renamed "August First Film Studio".
Since 1952, August First Film Studio has produced more than 2400 films, including Tracks In the Snowy Forest, Tunnel Warfare, and Charging Out of Amazon.
