During his college years he also spent four years playing with the Southern California Seahorses in the USL Premier Development League.[2]

Undrafted out of college, Meek signed with the Charlotte Eagles in the USL Second Division in 2004. He played an integral role in the team’s defense leading to three consecutive Championship Finals and a USL Second Division Championship in 2005 [3] where Meek was named the Championship Game MVP[4] scoring the game tying goal and game winning penalty kick.
