Benjamin Rabenorolahy

Benjamin Rabenorolahy (born January 21, 1940 in Morombe) is a Malagasy politician. He is a member of the Senate of Madagascar for the Northwest Region, and does not represent any party.

Rabenorolahy Benjamin is son of the pastor Ramalahy. He was a teacher in The Lutheran College of Tulear for many years, in the last 60-years. After that he came to the Lutheran College of Morondava, where he was a teacher from about 1970 ca.

After a few years in Morondava he vent to make theological studies at the pastoral school in Ivory, Fianarantsoa. After a short time there he was sent to continue his studies in Norway, at the missionary theological school in Stavanger. There he finished his theological studies (his family were there also with him) in the first 70 years.

When the studies were finished, he returned to Madagascar and there he became quickly chosen as the president of The Lutheran Church in Madagascar for a period of four years. After that he was rechoised three times for president. As of 2016 he has been retired for about 15 years.
