Bible.is is a mobile app produced by the audio Bible distributor Faith Comes By Hearing. In February 2011 a Spanish-language version of the app was released.[1] In 2010 the app was available in less than a dozen languages, in 2011 it was available in more than 200, and today it is available in more than 500[2] with the number almost doubling in late 2011.[3] The app is distributed at no cost to users and is available on all smart phone devices.[4] The company has stated its goal over time is to produce an audio Bible in every spoken language[2] and the costs to produce the New Testament in a new language is acquired through public fundraising.[5]
