Billy Lee Sorrell (October 14, 1940 – July 22, 2008) is a former Major League Baseball third baseman who played for three seasons. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1965, the San Francisco Giants in 1967, and the Kansas City Royals in 1970.
Sorrell holds the distinction of being the 10,000th player in major league history.[1]
