Vice Admiral Bimal Verma is an officer in the Indian Navy, serving as Commander in Chief, Andaman & Nicobar Command.[1][2][3] He joined the Navy in 1980.[4]
He commanded the ships INS Shardul and INS Magar and the destroyers INS Ranjit and INS Mysore.[4]
As a Flag Officer he served as Flag Officer Commanding Maharashtra and Gujarat Naval Area as well as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Information Warfare & Operations. He was promoted to Vice Admiral on 01 November 12 and appointed as the Chief of Staff for Eastern Naval Command.[4]
