Bishan is a village in Jhajjar district of Haryana under Beri tehsil, India. The village is about 5 km from the famous town Beri and follows the Gram Panchayat system. The village has undergone a transformation under the panchayat.
Today Bishan is well known for the high proportion of officers and soldiers it contributes to the Indian Army and other Armed Forces of India.The village made news in October 2014, when General Dalbir Singh Suhag was appointed as a new Army Chief of India.
