Blackheath and Bromley Harriers Athletic Club

Blackheath and Bromley Harriers Athletic Club is an athletics club based in South-East London, England. It is based at the The Sydney Wooderson Centre, 56 Bourne Way, Hayes, Kent. The club competes British Athletics League national division one, UK Women's Athletic League premier division and the Southern Athletic League.

History

The club began life as "Peckham Hare and Hounds" in 1869, and was renamed "The Peckham Athletic Club", the club move to Blackheath in 1878. [1] In 2000 the Club changed its name to "Blackheath Harriers, Bromley" and 2003 merged with "Bromley AC" to become "Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC".
