Bobby Ricketts

Bobby Ricketts is an American saxophonist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Bobby grew up in the area around greater Boston MA. Due to several hundred appearances on various Danish television shows from ca. 1983 onward. Through numerous artistic collaborations, his reputation has spread throughout Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and the US.[1]

Bobby Ricketts regularly tours in Europe, Japan, USA, and Africa.[2]

In March 2008, Bobby Ricketts released the album "Skin To Skin" which was called "one of the most scintillating albums of 2008!"[3] in a review by Smoothjazz.com radio personality Sandy Shore.

Bobby Ricketts has released several limited edition since, and has begun work on his next major album release, expected to be available worldwide in 2015.

As a result of heavy touring activity during 2009/2010, the saxophone sound and music of Bobby Ricketts is connecting with a growing audience numbering in the tens of thousands, spread on five continents around the globe. Over the past couple of years, Bobby has progressed from being "one to watch", to becoming one of the most exciting, dynamic, contemporary instrumentalists on the international scene today.
