Boris Pavlov (Борис Павлов, born 21 March 1947) is a Soviet male former weightlifter, who competed in the light heavyweight class and represented Soviet Union at international competitions. He won the gold medal at the 1971 World Weightlifting Championships in the 82.5 kg category. He participated at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the 82.5 kg event.[1] He won the gold medal at the 1972 European Championships in the Light-Heavyweight class (512.5 kg). He set six world records; three in the clean & jerk, and three in the total.
