Brandon Thomas Llamas (born 4 February 1995), simply known as Brandon, is a Spanish footballer who plays for RCD Mallorca as a forward.
Football career
Born in Santanyí, Majorca, Balearic Islands through an English father and a Spanish mother, Brandon was a product of RCD Mallorca's youth system. On 12 December 2012, without even appearing for the reserves, he made his professional debut, coming on as a late substitute for Alejandro Alfaro in a 0–5 home loss against Sevilla FC, for the season's Copa del Rey.[1]
On 15 December Brandon made his La Liga debut, again from the bench in a 0–1 away defeat against Athletic Bilbao.[2] On 9 January of the following year he scored his first professional goal, netting his team's first in a 2–1 away victory against Sevilla also for the national cup.[3]
Brandon scored his first league goal on 24 May 2015, netting the first in a 2–4 away loss against Albacete Balompié for the Segunda División championship.[4] In July, he was definitely promoted to the main squad by manager Albert Ferrer.[5]
On 28 January 2016, Brandon renewed his contract until 2019.[6] On 4 June, he scored a brace in a 3–1 win at Real Valladolid, being the club's top goalscorer during the campaign with six goals as his side narrowly avoided relegation.[7]
On 9 October 2016, Brandon scored a hat-trick in a 3–0 home win against SD Huesca.[8]
