Briggs Point
Not to be confused with Briggs Peninsula.
Briggs Point (54°17′S 36°17′W / 54.283°S 36.283°WCoordinates: 54°17′S 36°17′W / 54.283°S 36.283°W) is a headland on the east side of Godthul, close southwest of Cape George on the north coast of South Georgia. The name appears on a chart showing the results of a survey by DI personnel in 1929, and is probably for A.C. Briggs, a member of the survey party.
