Buddleja davidii 'Southcombe Splendour' is a cultivar selected and introduced to commerce by Trevor Wood of the Southcombe Gardens, Widecombe in the Moor, Devon. [1]
Description
'Southcombe Splendour' has an open, semi-lax habit and grows to a height of < 2.1 m. The pale violet blue panicles, 15–20 cm long, are complemented by silver-grey foliage which has a pale golden hue on the upper growths. [2]
Cultivation
'Southcombe Splendour' is only in cultivation in the UK.[1] A specimen is grown as part of the NCCPG national buddleja collection held by Longstock Park Nursery, near Stockbridge in Hampshire. [2]
