CILR-FM is a Canadian radio station that operates a tourist information format at 98.9 FM in Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan. The station is owned by Newcap Radio as of around 2005.[1]
Sask-Alta Broadcasters Limited, the then-owner of CILR, was given approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on August 30, 2002 and began broadcasting at an unknown date.[2]

On March 10, 2014, the CRTC revoked CILR-FM's licence; the license was revoked by request of the broadcaster, in order for the station to continue operation as an exempt, unlicensed low-powered station, an exemption authorised for stations that broadcast travel information.[4]
