It takes place in the Central Oregon region and is based in Bend, Oregon. It is a regular fixture for most of North America's top cyclists and teams. In recent years the race has been sponsored by the Bend Memorial Clinic, but is currently sponsored by Regence Bluecross Blueshield while being organized by the Mt.
