Celeste Katz is a New York-based journalist who serves as senior political correspondent for Mic. She specializes in multimedia reporting and is the co-host[1] of "Special Relationship," a podcast jointly presented by Mic and The Economist.

Prior to joining Mic[2] in January, 2016, Katz worked as a political correspondent, columnist and blogger[3] for the New York Daily News.

Katz started her career at the Providence Journal in 1995 where she served as a staff writer and columnist until joining the News in 2000.

She attended Brown University, graduating in 1995 with a BA in International Relations.[4]
