Central District (Kiar County)

The Central District of Kiar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کیار‎‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Kiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 43,108, in 10,601 families.^[1] The District has two cities: Shalamzar and Gahru. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Dastgerd Rural District, Kiar-e Gharbi Rural District, and Kiar-e Sharqi Rural District.
