Cheryl Hardcastle is a Canadian politician who was elected as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada to represent the federal electoral district of Windsor—Tecumseh during the 2015 Canadian federal election.[2]
Before entering politics, Hardcastle worked for almost 20 years as a reporter and editor of the former Tecumseh Tribune.[3]
In 2016 Hardcastle was appointed by NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair to the Subcommittee for International Human Rights, where she sits as Vice Chair. She is also the party critic for Sports and Persons with Disabilities.
