China Aircraft Services Limited

China Aircraft Services Limited (Chinese: 中國飛機服務有限公司), better known as CASL (中飛), is a major provider of aircraft line and base maintenance, ground support equipment services, and cabin cleaning services at Hong Kong International Airport.

CASL was founded in 1995 as a joint venture among China National Aviation Corporation (Group) Limited (40%), Hutchison Whampoa (China) Limited (20%), United Airlines (20%), and China Airlines (20%).[1] Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Xiamen Airlines have representations in the company via CNACG’s 40% shareholding ownership of CASL.

Apart from operating in Hong Kong, CASL and China Eastern Airlines established a joint venture company - Shanghai Eastern Aircraft Maintenance Limited (SEAM) providing aircraft line maintenance and ground support equipment services at Shanghai Pudong International Airport since 2003.

CASL employs more than 1,200 staff members. CASL offers a range of services listed below:

Base Maintenance

CASL is a member of the Hong Kong Aviation Industry Association.[3]

CASL's strategic partners at the Hong Kong International Airport include Jardine Aviation Services, HACTL, LSG Sky Chefs, and AFSC Fueling Services.

In September 2011, CASL and the Open University of Hong Kong joined hands to offer Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Programme.[4]

In October 2014, CASL Extended its Line Maintenance Services to Dragonair [5]

In December 2014, CASL is recognized as “18 Districts Caring Employers” for 3 consecutive years [6]

In November 2014, CASL supported HKIE’s “Engineer for a Day” Programme [7]

In March 2015, CASL is awarded as Outstanding Social Responsible Corporation [8]

In March 2015, CASL is awarded “Class of Excellence” Wastewi$e Label [9]

In March 2015, CASL Wins AA Corporate Safety Performance Award [10]

In November 2015, CASL is named Good MPF Employer [11]
