Chung Yoo-ra (born Chung Yoo-yeon, 30 October 1996) is a South Korean female dressage rider.[1] She competed at the 2014 Asian Games, where she won a team gold medal.[2]
Choi Soon-sil[3] is her mother,[4] and Chung Yoon-hoi is her father, the chief of staff to president Park Geun-hye when she was a second-term lawmaker.[5]
In the aftermath of the 2016 South Korean political scandal, focused on the person of her mother, Choi Soon-sil, Chung Yoo-ra's admission to prestigious Ewha Womans University has been cancelled, due to improper "preferential treatment in admissions and grading". Questions have been also raised about her middle and high school record.[6][7][8]
