Clara W. McMaster

Clara Watkins McMaster (October 30, 1904 – March 18, 1997)[1] was a member of the general board of the Primary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for many years. As part of her calling she wrote many popular devotional children's songs, including "Teach Me to Walk in the Light,"[2] "My Heavenly Father Loves Me,"[3] "Reverently, Quietly"[4] and "Kindness Begins with Me."[5]

McMaster was raised in Brigham City, Utah and was a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 22 years.[6]
