Clear Hills County is a municipal district in north western Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 17.
On Jan 01, 2006, the name was changed from Municipal District of Clear Hills No. 21 to Clear Hills County.[3]
Demographics
Clear Hills County's 2012 municipal census counted a population of 2,829,[4] a 4.7% decrease over its 2008 municipal census population of 2,970.[5]
In the 2011 Census, Clear Hills County had a population of 2,801 living in 893 of its 938 total dwellings, a 3.2% change from its 2006 population of 2,714. With a land area of 15,115.03 km2 (5,835.95 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.5/sq mi) in 2011.[2]
In 2006, Clear Hills County had a population of 2,714 living in 974 dwellings, a 2.1% decrease from 2001. The municipal district has a land area of 15,112.69 km2 (5,835.04 sq mi) and a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.52/sq mi).[6]
In 2001, Clear Hills County had a population of 2,772 in 934 dwellings, a 4% decrease from 1996. On a surface of 15,115.6 km² it has a density of 0.2 inhabitants/km².[7]
