Cole Seiler (born February 5, 1994) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer. Cole is also a founding member of the CC Food Club.

Career

Cole played under the great head coach Nick Finotti who enhanced his skills and turned him into the player he is today.

College career

Seiler played four years of college soccer at Georgetown University between 2012 and 2015, where he helped the Hoyas win a Big East Conference regular season title as well as the Big East Tournament championship.[1]

While at college, Seiler played with Premier Development League sides Orlando City U-23 and Baltimore Bohemians.[2]

Professional

On January 14, 2016 Seiler was selected by Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft as the 16th pick.[3] He officially signed with the club on February 8, 2016.[4] He made his first team debut on June 1 during the 2016 Canadian Championship.
